At this time, no, there is not an on-line source to order parts; although we plan to provide that capability in the near future. There is, however, an Easy Cover Parts List on our website to make the ordering process easier. It can be found by choosing "Products" from the main menu, then "Dump Products and Liners" and finally "Easy Cover". As always our inside sales team is happy to assist. You may reach them at 800-535-9545. [ Back to top ]![]() Does Aero have literature displaying the different motor options for products?
Yes, motor options can be downloaded in this Motor Sheet. [ Back to top ]![]() How do I increase the spring tension of a side mount 575 system?
To increase tension on the springs rotate or clock the system toward the rear of the vehicle. To do so, remove the two 1/2" counter sunk bolts and rotate the spring base to the next set of pre-set holes. Reference the Easy Cover Spring Tension Diagram.pdf for details. [ Back to top ]![]() Why will my tarp system run one direction but not the other?
Most of the time one of the lead wires has been damaged and developed a short. The easiest way to check this is to switch the two wires on the motor. If the system now operates the direction it would not before there is a short in one of the two lead wires that connects the motor and the switch. [ Back to top ]![]() My system will not operate. How do I know if it is the motor, switch or wire?
The best way to narrow the search is to remove the two lead wires at the motor and use a test power source (large battery charger or battery with long jumper cables). If the motor operates both directions the motor is operational. Next, check to see if the problem is in the electrical system. Check the circuit breaker first. You can do this by using a test light and checking posts for power. The switch can be checked by removing the A1 and A2 terminals and supplying a test power source (most cases 12VDC, although some systems have 24VDC). Then use A1 and A2 wires for positive and negative connections. If your motor operates in both directions check the B1 and B2 terminals on the switch. One of the terminals should test hot and the other should test solid ground. If this is the case, the problem is in the switch and it should be replaced. Reference the Easy Cover 500/550/575 Wiring Diagram.pdffor details. [ Back to top ]![]() Can you install a kit less the wind deflector and mounting plates?
Yes, as long the bearings are incorporated into the cab shield; you should also ensure that you have enough space for the tarp roller bar to fit within the confines of the cab shield. [ Back to top ]![]() What tarp color lasts the longest against weather, and sunlight?
Black, because it is naturally resistant to UV rays. [ Back to top ]![]() I have the under mount springs and cannot get the system to track straight. What can I do?
If the system is installed on the body and the arm lengths are equally adjusted, you may need to shim one of the sides of the spring base or the underneath side. If the arm is too close to the body on the driver's side, slightly shim the passenger side; start with 1/4". Roll the system to see if it properly tracks. If so, weld the shim in place. A small adjustment will make a big difference on side to side tracking. Reference the Easy Cover Shim Diagram.pdf for details on where to shim to improve tracking. [ Back to top ]![]() What is the standard Warranty period for an Aero Industries product?

Yes, but it will have to be mounted to the container and not the truck. This will allow the system to stay with the container wherever it is dropped. Also, side mount springs will need to be used. [ Back to top ]![]() What is the difference between the Economy Version and the Standard Easy Cover®? What are the best applications for each?
The two systems operate in the same fashion; arm-style/mouse trap style with spring. However, there are differences in arm material, spring options, size, motors, tarps, and of course pricing. Arm Material Economy: Square Profile arms Standard: Heavy duty "tear drop" profile arms (unbreakable under normal operating conditions). Spring Option Economy: Open air side mount springs Standard: PowerPack (closed) side mount, under mount or underbody springs Size of Dump Unit Economy: Only up to 21' Standard: Up to 40' Motors Economy: Superwinch Standard: Aero Industries exclusive PowerPlus on shorter applications and heavy-duty Superwinch on longer applications Tarp Economy: No webbing, Asphalt tarps are made from polypropylene.
