Read this entire sheet and all instructions before installing and operating this product.

The swing arms rotate during operation. DO NOT stand in the path of or on the arms and make sure that NO ONE is in the path of or on the arms.

The swing arms rotate under extreme spring tension. Before making any repairs, see repair instructions “How to Properly Release Spring Tension” and properly release spring tension.

Routinely inspect tarp and swing arms. DO NOT operate if parts are worn or damaged. Worn or damaged parts may come loose. Replace all worn or broken parts IMMEDIATELY.

Damaged arms could come loose unexpectedly and allow the arm to rotate with tremendous force. Before making any repairs, see repair instructions “How to Properly Release Spring Tension” and properly release spring tension.

DO NOT unlock the roll stops before releasing the spring tension on the PowerLock™. Unlocking the roll stops can cause a rapid release of spring tension.

Use OHSA-approved ladders or scaffolding to work above ground level. Be sure that your working platform is secure as you work on the truck.

Always wear safety glasses during installation and maintenance.

DO NOT stand in the path of or on the arms.
Never stand near damaged arms/tarp. Always check to make sure that NO ONE is in the path of the arms or in the immediate area while repairing. Arms could come loose and allow the arm to rotate with tremendous force.
Damaged arms could come loose unexpectedly and allow the arm to rotate with tremendous force. DO NOT operate when damaged. Secure any damaged parts until repairs can be made.

Tarp MUST be fully covered or fully uncovered before driving. Wind can lift tarp and may cause components to come loose.

Use caution lifting heavy components. Use more than one person and/or proper equipment to handle components.

Use caution while installing the swing arms. Springs are under extreme tension and arms may rotate unexpectedly.

Keep all clothing clear of moving parts.
